Wiscasset Veterinary Hospital is seeking Veterinary Technicians and Assistants to join our team.

We are a new practice opening in April 2020 in a spacious, newly renovated facility that has a longstanding history of providing veterinary care to the pets and families of Lincoln County. We have a full in-house Idexx suite, including Procyte, Catalyst, Sedivue, new DR50 digital x-ray, as well as digital dental radiography and cloud-based software. The ideal candidates will possess experience in restraint, venipuncture, electronic medical records, pharmacy duties, laboratory testing, radiographic positioning, surgery preparation, intubation, anesthetic monitoring, and dental prophylaxis. LVT status is valued, but all with experience are welcome to apply. Experience positioning for dental radiography would be especially preferred. We are located on 5 acres of land across from the rolling hills of beautiful Morris Farm in a pleasant environment. Both full-time and part-time applicants are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have experience in a veterinary office, possess proficiency with multi-line phone systems and experience with electronic medical records software, and be able to multi-task.
